Ministries Every Christian has a gift or gifts that God has given us. We are to use these gifts to serve Christ. The local church seeks to reach out to others and make disciples as well as to encourage and grow in our relationships with each other. Using Teamwork we can all work together to accomplish what God wants Arlington Baptist Church to accomplish. TEAM Ministry means that each of us serve Christ in Teams so that we can be most-effective. A team is not a committee that merely makes decisions and recommendations about how the church can do something. It is a group of people who desire to serve Christ by actually carrying out the work. Every team member is important and must be willing to work. Those having a desire to be on a team are welcome, even if they are not yet certain if they are gifted Th that particular area. Sometimes working in an area helps one know whether or not they are gifted in that area. When people find that they are not gifted in a particular area, they can come off that team and join another team.
Every Christian is called to reach people for Christ as a lifestyle. In addition we can serve Christ together as the body of Christ through Team Ministry. Below are listed areas of ministry that are served by teams which help us, accomplish our purpose.
